Families interested in applying for financial assistance at Saint Philomena School of the Sacred Heart can apply through the FACTS Financial Aid Application. FACTS assists schools, parishes and the Diocese of Providence in awarding financial aid and works with schools to collect financial data so schools can make accurate award decisions based on financial need. For questions about the FACTS Financial Aid Application, please contact Mrs. Alison Oliver at aoliver@saintphilomena.org.
After completing the online application, you will need to upload all required supporting documentation. New this year – IRS Integration! FACTS is committed to making the financial aid process easier for families. With IRS Integration, applicants can now securely retrieve their tax transcripts directly from the IRS, eliminating the need to manually scan, upload, or mail sensitive financial documents. This not only streamlines the application process but also enhances data security. Saint Philomena School of the Sacred Heart kindly requests that families utilize the IRS Integration for the Financial Aid Application if you have the option to do so.

The following supporting documents are required to complete the application process:

Copies of all supporting documentation for household Non-Taxable Income such as: Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers’ Compensation, and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). If you do not file a tax return, you are required to provide documentation of all income received. All documentation received is imaged upon receipt and then destroyed.
You may log in to your FACTS user account to review the status of your application. With IRS Integration, we are hopeful that the processing time for applications will be dramatically reduced. However, while we work through the first year of using IRS Integration, please allow up to 2 weeks of processing time before inquiring further about receipt and/or status of the uploaded documents. A non-refundable $45 application fee will be required before your application will be submitted. If there is a hardship, please contact Mrs. Oliver, Director of Finance & Operations. All award decisions are made by Saint Philomena School of the Sacred Heart, not FACTS.
We are requesting that all current families returning for the 2026-2027 school year apply for financial assistance by February 13, 2026. The application should be complete, including all requested supplemental documentation by February 13, 2026.
