Substitute teachers play an important role in ensuring continuity of learning and helping our students feel safe, supported, and inspired throughout the school day.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage students in a positive and professional manner
• Implement lesson plans and classroom routines provided by the teacher
• Foster a classroom environment that reflects respect, kindness, and appropriate student behavior
• Communicate effectively with school administrators and faculty
• Support the mission and values of Saint Philomena School and Sacred Heart education

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Prior experience working with children or in educational settings preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility, professionalism, and reliability
• Comfortable working on a campus environment that requires 
  Successful completion of all required background checks and Safe Environment requirements
